Toulouse Airport Bus Being one of the most picturesque cities in France, Toulouse brings in many visitors to the southwestern France. The city has its airport located 5km northwest of the center, in Blagnac.

Bus transfer

There are two bus operators providing daily transfers between Toulouse Airport and the city center. You can also find direct buses to Andorra available at the airport.

Going to Toulouse

Going to Toulouse

The bus shuttles everyday throughout the year (except of 1st May). It needs around 25 minutes to transfer you to the city. You may find it every 20 minutes between 5:00am and 00:15am. The bus stops at 4 stops. The price for a single ticket is €8.

Public bus: There are 4 public bus lines operated by Tisseo, which can get you to the airport and the city center. Depending on the chosen line and traffic, the trip can take around 20-30 minutes.

  • Bus no. 25: Blagnac Emile Zola – Toulouse-Blagnac Airport
  • Bus no. 30: Fenouillet Centre Commercial – Toulouse-Blagnac Airport
  • Bus no. 66: Toulouse St Cyprien – Toulouse-Blagnac Airport
  • Bus no. 88: (Bus of the Department Council of Haute Garonne): Grenade, Ondes, Merville, Seilh, Beauzelle, Blagnac to Toulouse airport.

Going to other destinations

The Toulouse-Blagnac Airport constitutes a good base for trips to Andorra or Lourdes. Those, who want to visit the holy place, have to get to the city center primarily. Then take the train to Lourdes from the Toulouse Matabiau railway station. The first one departs at 6am, arriving in Lourdes at 8.44am.

A regular one-way ticket costs €26,80. If you plan some hitchhiking or skiing in Andorra, you can get there either from the city center (Toulouse Matabiau) or directly from the Toulouse-Blagnac Airport.There are three bus connections per day (10:30am, 3pm and 7:30pm). The price for a one way ticket is €37.

Tramway transfer

T2 line: Toulouse Airport- Metro ligne A (Arènes) and Metro LigneB (Palais de Justice)

Available since 2015, constitutes a reliable connection, offering trams shuttling every 15 minutes. The T2 line tram connects with metro ligne A at Arènes and metro ligne B at Palais de Justice. The transfer takes about 35 minutes.

Getting a taxi

If you like to avoid crowds, a comfy cab would be a good solution, especially that the taxis here are not too expensive. Prepare to pay around €22 for the transfer to the center. Taxi stops are located on the ground level in the arrivals area between gates B3 and C1.

Renting a car

For those who prefer to explore the area on their own, car rental would be the best choice. You can find all of the major international companies available at the airport, including Sixt, Europcar or Hertz.

Toulouse-Blagnac Airport is situated 5 kilometers of Toulouse. It is quite near the Pays Basque and Andorra, with which it is communicated fairly well. The port offers a wide range of amenities, among which you will find 22 various shops, including the duty free zone.

In case you feel hungry, there is 14 restaurants, delis or cafes waiting to serve you the best of French, American, Spanish or Italian cuisine. Apart from it, you can also work or relax in comfortable conditions, visiting the Croix du Sud lounge area.

It offers 300m2 of comfort with a bilingual staff, free internet and TV in French and English, as well as high-quality furniture, designed to meet your working standards. Of course there are also banks and currency exchange spots, where you can withdraw or exchange your money.


1. Is it possible to get to the city at night?

Of course, there are several buses and trams running until midnight and from 5am. However, if you arrive between those hours, a taxi would be the best solution.

2. How big is the Toulouse Airport?

It has one terminal, divided into four halls: A, B, C and D.

3. Is the airport open 24 hours?

Yes, it operates 24 hours. However, please be aware that most of the facilities (shops or restaurants) will close at 9pm.

4. Can I sleep at the airport? Or where is the nearest hotel?

Many of the passengers sleep at the airport. There are few places suitable for it. However, if you don’t feel comfortable about it, you can also book a hotel.

Radisson Blu Toulouse Airport is the nearest one. Aerel Appart’ hotel, Toulouse Blagnacor Hotel, Pullman Toulouse Airport are a bit further. You can also check the list of hotels nearby.
