How to Check-in and Baggage Allowance

When checking-in and boarding, the passenger must present a valid identity card or passport that is good for travel to the final destination country. In the Airport, it is possible to check-in at both the check-in desks and at the automatic self-check-in terminals. In general, it is possible to take 20 kilos of baggage that can be subdivided among different bags and cases.

For the United States and Canada, you can take two bags that must not weigh more than 32 kilos each. The instructions are subject to frequent changes that depend on the airline and IATA (International Air Transport Association) international regulations.

It is therefore wise to contact the airline or travel agency. If the baggage has a weight or size over the allowed limit, an extra charge will have to be paid, which varies from one airline to another.
