Stockholm Arlanda Airport (IATA: ARN), commonly known as Arlanda, is an international airport in the Stockholm County region of Sweden, some 35 km north of central Stockholm.
Internationally, the airport is a hub for traffic to and from Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea region. Stockholm Arlanda currently has the strongest route network in this area − with a total of 180 different destinations, nationally and internationally. At Arlanda, you can check-in at an automated check-in machine, check-in counter or online check-in. If you are checking in via mobile or computer and wish to your baggage, you need to print the baggage tags at a self-service machine at the airport. Different airlines have different regulations for how much baggage you are allowed to check-in. Check with your airline what you can carry before travelling.

There are daily buses from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Karlskoga operated by Nettbuss. The first bus departs at 00:15 and the last bus departs at 20:40. The duration of the journey is 3 hours 30 mins. The cost of a single ticket is 39 EUR.

Arlanda Express The Arlanda express train takes you from Arlanda Airport to the city center. The platform is easily accessible and is located underneath the arrival terminals. Departure: every 15 minutes (for most of the day). Travel time: 20 minutes. The price of a single ticket ranges from 15 EUR to 27 EUR depending on your age and number of tickets booked.
As part of Arlanda airport’s continual environmental support, all taxis in the airport are eco taxis. There are no fixed fares, and all taxis must clearly display their highest fare (comparative price) on both sides of the vehicle.
The comparative price is always calculated on a so-called typical journey with a distance of 10 kilometres that takes 15 minutes. This allows passengers to quickly compare pricing before selecting a taxi. There is no need to take the first taxi in the queue. The maximum price for trips within the marked zone boundaries is SEK 675 (63.51 EUR)

The car rental offices are located at Arlanda’s car rental area P2 Beta Long-term parking, except for Sixt which is located at the Swedavia P3 Alfa Long-term parking. Cars are collected from and returned to the car rental company’s office unless otherwise agreed.

Yes, you can sleep at the airport. Even though there are no designated rest zones, there are plenty of comfortable seats and couches across the airport where you can rest for a while. If you prefer hotels, Clarion Hotel Arlanda and Radisson Blu Sky City are both connected to the airport, at SkyCity, located between Terminals 4 and 5. Overnight and day rooms are available.
